Personal Members can conveniently open a 2024 Spring Earn More Promo account directly through online banking with just a few clicks.

Transfer online, hassle free

Tired of the hassle of calling to transfer-in new funds? No time to visit a branch? Personal and business banking Members have the autonomy to independently transfer-in new funds to the 2024 Spring Earn More Promo account using the following 3-digital options:

1. Me-2-Me transfer
2. E-Transfer
3. Mobile Remote Cheque Deposit

1. Eligible Deposits: To qualify for the promotional rate, deposits must be new to DUCA. Eligible funds include: In branch deposits into the 2024 Spring Earn More Promo using cash, cheque, and bank drafts as well as online deposits into the 2024 Spring Earn More Promo from Electronic Money Transfers (EMT), Me-to-Me transfers, and Mobile Remote Deposit Capture (cheque). Existing Fund Transfers from existing DUCA accounts are not eligible.

2. Account Distinction: The 2024 Spring Earn More Promo account is new as of March 15, 2024 and is distinct from previous promotional accounts.
3. Account Opening: Members can open an account directly through their online banking platform, in branch, or by calling our Member Connect Team at 1-866-900-3822.
4. Self-Serve Online Account Opening: To open a 2024 Spring Earn More Promo account through the self-serve online account opening feature, Members must transfer a minimum of $0.01- $1.00 from an existing DUCA account for activation. Once the account is activated with this initial transfer, any subsequent transfers from existing DUCA accounts will not qualify for the promotion. The self-serve online account opening feature is not available through the mobile app and is not available for Business Members.

5. Rate Change: Rate subject to change and campaign can end early without notice.

6. Limitation: The 2024 Spring Earn More Promo is not available for the following: debit card access, access at an ATM, bill payments, telephone banking, direct deposit.
7. E-Transfer: The e-transfer fee of $1.25 may apply, depending on your account type. 

8. Offer timeframe: Offer currently available from March 15, 2024 to June 30, 2024. When the promotion ends, all funds in the Member's 2024 Spring Earn More Promo account will automatically transfer into the Member's regular (non-promotional) Earn More Savings Account. Offer can end early without notice.

9. Tax Implications: Interest earned is taxable.

10. Insurance: Eligible deposits in non-registered accounts are insured up to $250,000 through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. www.fsrao.ca.
